One of the difficulties of recycling is contamination - meaning putting the wrong items in for recycling. If you are not sure if an item can be recycled, it is actually best to throw it in the garbage. But remember - the first “R” is “reduce”, so try to find replacements for single use plastics before you try to find recycling solutions!
